Chaos

It might seem weird or unusual, but when I go to an exhibition and I find a painting I particularly like, I examine it from up close. So close, I have to be told by the staff multiple times to step back. It is my method of analysing details in artworks. Looking at art from distance allows us to see the wholeness. Nevertheless, looking at it from up close gives us an opportunity to notice the smallest details others might miss. Perhaps, that is why I intuitively add a lot of tiny details (brush strokes, lines, see through layers of paint) to my artworks. For this reason, there is always something new to discover in a painting.
(It might explain why they appear chaotic or dynamic at times).
